There are plenty of advantages in putting your dog into Canine to Five Dog Day Care or holiday care
·Peace of mind You know where your dog is. You know he’s safe and being supervised. You know he’s not annoying the neighbours or putting himself in danger. He will be less inclined to exhibit nuisance behaviour (barking, digging, self-mutilation, separation anxiety, destructive behaviour) if he has the mental, physical and social stimulation of spending at least one day a week in Canine to Five Dog Day Care.
·Less stress You will have a happy, mentally and physically stimulated, well exercised dog back at the end of her stay at Canine to Five Dog Day Care. She will have played games, been taken on walks, been petted and cuddled, constantly in human and canine company. She will not be demanding attention the way she would at the end of a boring lonely day on her own.
·Confidence Your dog will have a chance to socialize with other dogs at Canine to Five Dog Day Care, and experience the dog things he misses out on in the backyard by himself. He will be able to practice his communication skills with other dogs in a controlled environment and should become more confident and relaxed when you take him into social situations with other dogs.
·Knowledge about your dog At Canine to Five Day and Holiday care intensive supervision is provided to a small number of dogs. Their individual tastes and quirks will be noted, those things you don’t see because you are away for the day. We can “test” how your dog reacts to different toys, snacks, beds, and activities…and what times of the day she favours doing things. You will get a different perspective on what your dog likes.
·Enhanced health A happy mentally stimulated dog will usually have an enhanced immune system. This means fewer illnesses and fewer visits to the vet.
